Schedule: Open availability required, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the mechanics, as well as inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and monitoring all types of heavy equipment.

Hands-on position that develops and manages a strong maintenance team, managing the service request processes, leading the maintenance and capital improvement processes, coordinating the preventative maintenance program, directing all make-ready processes to maintain high quality within designated turn-around times, overseeing inventory and supply management, coordinating risk management and safety programs, and ensuring satisfaction. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where you will use your organizational and multi-tasking skills daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the entire mechanical operation ? safety, administration and productivity.
  2. Responsible for the scheduling of preventative maintenance program and work force to achieve goals of 100% compliance.
  3. Responsible to maintain a sufficient level of tools and parts to properly maintain all terminal equipment.
  4. Directly supervises and evaluates all levels of mechanics and promotes as required.
  5. Responsible for enforcing and upholding all rules, regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years leadership experience
  • Strong technical knowledge regarding maintenance
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars
  • Valid driver?s license
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
