Role: Lead POS QA
Location: San Ramon, CA (5 days Onsite)
Duration: Long Term
Required Skills:
- Hands on QA role for Retail POS Applications
- 12+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on POS systems
- Proven track record of working on retail technology platforms and POS device/application validation
- Deep understanding of end-to-end functional flows and POS interfaces in the retail domain
- Hands-on experience in POS self-checkout, POS QA testing, PCI-compliance validation, and EMV testing
- Proficient in upstream and downstream POS system integration testing
- Creating test data and executing comprehensive end-to-end POS testing
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction, filtering, and basic joins
Nice to have
- API backend automation experience.
- Develop test plans and scalable automation solutions
- Candidate should be hands-on in Java/Python/Cypress/Javascript.
- Some experience with Playwright and AI/MCP.
