Actuarial Forecasting Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Forecasting Lead with strong expertise in claims forecasting, loss development, actuarial modelling, and financial performance analysis for insurance and protection products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and enhance actuarial models for claims forecasting, loss estimation, and warranty claims projections.

• Analyze claims frequency, severity, loss ratios, repair/replacement costs, and product failure patterns.

• Perform claims reserving, loss development, ultimate loss projections, and actual-versus-expected analysis.

• Improve forecast accuracy through statistical modelling, back-testing, scenario analysis, and predictive analytics.

• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, claims, supply chain, data science, and technology teams.

• Lead model validation, functional discussions, and business acceptance.

Required Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant experience in actuarial modelling and claims forecasting.

• Strong knowledge of claims frequency/severity, reserving, loss development, pricing, and loss ratio projections.

• Experience with extended warranty, device protection, service contracts, or specialty insurance products.

• Hands-on experience with actuarial and analytical tools; exposure to statistical modelling and AI/ML is preferred.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Professional actuarial qualifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
