  • Collaborate with PLC engineers to align LabVIEW logic with interlocks, alarming, and I/O management.
  • Prepare wiring diagrams, loop sheets, channel maps, and system documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and generate technical reports.
  • Implement software configuration management for LabVIEW, FPGA, and test automation code.
  • Lead automation initiatives using Python, MATLAB, and AI-supported engineering processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide engineering design, troubleshooting, and commissioning support across multiple test stands of varying scale and complexity.

Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with LabVIEW development and test system integration.
  • Experience coordinating LabVIEW applications with PLC-controlled systems.
  • Experience supporting both small-scale and large-scale automated test stands.
  • Experience designing and validating automated test stands or instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualification:
  • NI CLD or CLA certification.
  • Experience with LabVIEW RT/FPGA and deterministic data streaming.
  • Familiarity with PlantPAx, FactoryTalk, OPC UA, Modbus, and industrial networks.
  • Knowledge of ISA standards, SIS concepts, PHA, NFPA, and NEC codes.
  • Experience applying AI/ML in test or industrial automation systems.
