Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description: One of our clients in the R&D space supporting aerospace and defense is looking for an Electrical Component Engineer.
6+ month contract with possibility for extensions
Fully Remote (EST hours)
This position focuses on:
- EEE parts engineering for high-reliability aerospace systems
- Component selection, qualification, screening, and failure analysis
- Working with MIL, AEC, JEDEC, and space-grade standards
- Supporting design, reliability, manufacturing, and supplier teams
- Evaluating microelectronics, semiconductors, hybrids, passives, and related components
They're looking for someone with experience in:
- MIL-STD / MIL-PRF component standards
- Physics of failure & component-level FA
- Semiconductor / microelectronics packaging
- Aerospace, defense, or space-grade hardware environments
