Location: Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid)
Role Overview
The Senior Genesys & API Integration Developer will design, develop, and support Contact Center integrations and Agentic AI capabilities across the Genesys ecosystem. This position will focus on developing APIs, middleware integrations, customer servicing workflows, telephony integrations, and AI enablement required to support next-generation customer experiences. The individual will work closely with architects, business analysts, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient customer service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Genesys Cloud call flows.
- Develop inbound routing and IVR experiences.
- Build intelligent call allocation and escalation logic.
- Support voice bot and virtual assistant integrations.
- Implement SIP, telephony, and transfer workflows.
- Design and develop REST APIs and integration services.
- Integrate customer profile, authentication, account, card, and transaction services.
- Support secure API gateways and service orchestration.
- Build reusable integration patterns for AI platforms.
- Develop event-driven and real-time service integrations.
- Integrate AI platforms with company systems.
- Enable customer authentication workflows and develop AI orchestration services.
- Participate in deployment planning and production releases.
- Troubleshoot application and telephony issues.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions.
- Support incident response and root cause analysis.
- Ensure secure handling of customer and regulated data.
- Follow security, API, and data governance standards.
- Support cybersecurity and AI governance reviews.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of Genesys Cloud development experience.
- Strong API development experience (REST, JSON, OAuth).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Technical Skills:- Experience with C#, .NET, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Knowledge of SIP, telephony, and contact center technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI integrations and LLM-based platforms is preferred.
