Summary

Job Title: Sr. Tester / Test Lead (Utilities + Accounting & Finance)

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 24 months plus

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Tester / Test Lead with expertise in Utilities and Accounting & Finance to support the testing and quality assurance of technology solutions within these domains. The ideal candidate will manage and lead testing activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets the business requirements and technical specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of both IT testing methodologies and the unique needs of finance and utility sectors.

Requirements:

Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the Utilities and Accounting & Finance sectors
Strong experience with manual and automated testing, test case design, and defect tracking tools
Familiarity with testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models
Experience with testing financial systems, utility billing systems, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is highly preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent)
