Summary

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I with a Biotechnology company. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Fremont, CA.

Summary:

This role involves executing fundamental unit operations in a cGMP-regulated, multi-product facility focused on the downstream manufacturing of bulk drug substances. The successful candidate will perform duties under limited supervision according to standard operating procedures, with a strong focus on quality and safety in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute fundamental unit operations in Downstream manufacturing
  • Perform non-complex operations such as parts cleaning, weighing and dispensing, equipment prep, kit assembly, and staging
  • Execute fundamental tasks including CIP and SIP of tanks, buffer preparation, and transfer operations
  • Perform internal support duties including stocking consumables and materials
  • Document all work according to cGMP and cGDP standards
  • Adhere to established regulations, safety standards, and cGMP policies
  • Report abnormalities and deviations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain production areas according to predefined standards (5s)
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a complex technical setup
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with computer-based systems
  • Ability to read and understand SOPs and document work applying cGMP standards
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing team and collaborate effectively
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift structure
Desired skills:
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree or biotechnology vocational training
  • 1 or more years of experience in a cGMP regulated industry

Pay range: Up to $ 22.14 per Hour
