Role: Lead ServiceNow HAM Pro & CMDB Business Process Consultant (Data Center Assets)

Lead level BPC who is an expert with ITAM HAM.  Must be qualified to handle the below.

Scope of Work

1. Objective of the project

Support the ITOM (data center) work stream of the HAM Pro Process Migration on the Customer engagement, migrating Customer''s Hardware Asset Management onto enterprise HAM Pro and establishing the underlying CMDB data quality, normalization, and governance for IT infrastructure assets.

The role owns the business-process and requirements work for the data-center hardware asset scope across Phase 1 (Foundation and Data Quality) and the subsequent phases (2 through 6), where the infrastructure/ITAM side adopts normalized model data and out-of-the-box HAM Pro capabilities.

2.  Tasks to be performed

•  Gather and document business requirements for the data-center hardware asset scope, and translate them into user Stories for the delivery team.

•  Run requirement workshops with the Customer infrastructure/ITAM and operations stakeholders, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.

•  Support normalization and HMN adoption on the ITOM side: model normalization coverage analysis, manufacturer and company record audits, and the migration of model data into the normalized model number field.

•  Define classification criteria and asset-type differentiation for data-center hardware (servers, enclosures, blades, and other infrastructure CIs).

•  Support end-of-life and lifecycle handling for infrastructure assets, including per-manufacturer and per-model end-of-life dates and custom contract dates held by the asset managers.

•  Coordinate with the Solution Architect on solutioning, and stay engaged with the technical consultants through implementation and UAT for the data-center scope.

•  Contribute to the governance and data-quality framework for the shared model and CMDB, in line with the program''s CSDM alignment.

3.  Required skills

•  Strong CMDB and CSDM expertise, to a consulting level, with hands-on data-center / IT infrastructure asset experience (this is the core skill the current team does not carry).

•  HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management Pro) implementation experience, including normalization and the Hardware Model Normalization (HMN) engine.

•  ServiceNow CMDB data management: transform maps, coalesce logic, data-load jobs, and model-table cleanup.

•  Business-process consulting: requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and translation of requirements into Stories.

•  Familiarity with asset lifecycle and end-of-life management for IT infrastructure.

•  Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model within a Partner-sourced delivery team.
