Application Support Specialist

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an Application Support Specialist with strong technical troubleshooting and customer service skills to support a healthcare web application. This is a fully onsite position in Columbia SC.

The Application Support Specialist will assist end users with technical issues, troubleshoot application functionality, and collaborate with development teams to improve the user experience.

Duties:

• Provide technical support to users of a healthcare web application.

• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and escalate complex problems as needed.

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear, timely resolutions.

• Perform manual application testing and assist with user acceptance testing.

• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation.

• Identify recurring issues and collaborate with development and product teams on improvements.

• Assist with application updates, process improvements, and user training.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of technical help desk or application support experience.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

• Experience supporting web-based applications and researching technical issues.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of healthcare processes and diagnostic testing.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to document technical issues and explain solutions to nontechnical users.

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
