This position involves project coordination for technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery efforts. The role requires the use of enterprise change tools and adherence to established guidelines. The IT Project Manager will manage resources across various business lines and balance technical requirements with project schedules and milestone delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate resources within and across various lines of business with matrix management responsibility.
- Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, and milestone delivery of the technical solution.
- Define and evaluate problems to plan effective solutions.
- Identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules.
- Present project progress and issues, providing potential solutions and accepting constructive feedback.
- Understand and manage stakeholder expectations and objectives.
- Set and manage project expectations with management, team members, and stakeholders.
- Identify changing project priorities and reallocate resources effectively.
- Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in a role with a mix of technology delivery, governance, change management, or project delivery.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Telecom deliverables, including Cisco voice technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams).
Professional Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders. Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and processes. Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends based on project schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BMC Remedy Tools (Change Management).
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Management or DHCP Address.
