JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data integration and reporting solutions for Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS/T-MMIS) and Federal Reporting programs. This role requires expertise in database design, SQL development, Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.5, ETL architecture, and CMS regulatory reporting.
- Design and maintain relational database models, schemas, tables, indexes, and views.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning solutions.
- Perform database optimization and data quality analysis for large healthcare datasets.
- Build ETL processes for Medicaid claims, provider, eligibility, and encounter data.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Implement data validation, error handling, and audit controls.
- Investigate and resolve CMS reporting errors and DQ Atlas findings.
- Support audits, PERM reviews, and federal certification activities.
