Position Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support testing efforts across enterprise applications, with a primary focus on SAP Commerce Cloud. The candidate will also likely work on WalkMe and may contribute to HCM-related testing, although HCM is not a primary requirement for this role.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, test design, defect management, and functional validation, along with hands-on experience in functional test automation using Playwright with Java. This individual should be comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality releases across web-based enterprise platforms.

Required Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Proven hands-on experience testing SAP Commerce Cloud.
Strong experience validating commerce-specific workflows, including:
- Catalog
- Search
- Cart
- Checkout
- Pricing
- Promotions
- Order flows
Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, including test planning, test design, test execution, regression testing, defect management, and end-to-end functional validation.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and Java for functional UI automation.
Experience testing web-based applications in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and the defect lifecycle.
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into structured, traceable test scenarios and test cases.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a contractor role.

Must-Have Skills

5-7 years of QA / Quality Engineering experience.
Direct SAP Commerce Cloud testing experience.
WalkMe testing experience.
Strong manual QA background.
Test planning and test case design experience.
Defect management experience.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and Java.

Nice-to-Have Skills

HCM testing exposure.
Performance testing exposure.
Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW).
