The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary Network Infrastructure Automation Engineer to redefine how enterprise-grade networks are deployed and managed. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between traditional networking and modern software engineering, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to build resilient, self-healing environments. This is a chance to move beyond manual configurations and lead the charge in creating scalable, automated ecosystems that drive operational excellence for our premier client in the Greater Buffalo area.


What You’ll Do

  • Architect and deploy sophisticated automation workflows that transform manual network tasks into seamless, programmatic processes.

  • Engineer robust IaC solutions using tools like Nautobot and Ansible to ensure consistent, repeatable infrastructure delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into high-performance technical designs.

  • Champion the creation of comprehensive architectural standards, rigorous testing protocols, and clear technical documentation.

  • Mentor junior technical staff through code reviews and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical precision.

  • Drive vendor relationships and coordinate external resources to ensure all integrated technologies align with enterprise goals.

  • Synthesize industry trends and emerging financial technology best practices to keep the network infrastructure ahead of the curve.

  • Uphold stringent risk management and regulatory compliance protocols, ensuring all automated solutions meet the highest security standards.


What You Bring

  • Proven Mastery in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and modern DevOps methodologies.

  • Deep Technical Background in Network Engineering, with a focus on designing and scaling complex enterprise environments.

  • Automation Expertise featuring hands-on experience with Nautobot, Ansible, and Python-based network programmability.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving skills, specifically the ability to optimize legacy network operations through modern automation frameworks.

  • Collaborative Spirit, with the professional maturity to engage with stakeholders at all levels to define and refine technical requirements.

  • Adaptability to work in a high-energy, hybrid environment in Greater Buffalo, balancing independent execution with team-based innovation.
