Job Title: Senior Web Project Manager

Work Mode: Hybrid - Work location & Remote (3 days in office/2 days remote)

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will work with the Service team to oversee the entire project lifecycle from planning, tracking and delivery with quality and on time. The project manager will serve as key communication link between internal and external stakeholders, develop and own delivery on timelines and help facilitate meetings to resolve issues and keep work aligned to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with team to define project objectives and create and maintain detailed work plan
• Lead and manage tasks within the team and plan communication cadence within team and with external stakeholders
• Monitor project activities, document agreements, communicate to project stakeholders, and escalate issues on a timely basis
• Maintain project documentation ensuring alignment with objectives
• Set up and manage user stories in Azure DevOps project

Mandatory Skills/Experience Required:

• 8 years of experience managing web projects
• Demonstrated experience delivering quality websites and web features to launch
• Ability to proactively plan and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a complex environment and elevate issues for resolution
• Expertise in software delivery best practices with proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar system for ticketing and issue resolution
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership, experts, and decision makers cross-functionally and across teams, coaching teams to drive outcomes
• Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices
• Experience setting up project management tooling for teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Manage quality assurance testing according to city process
• Manage and execute software release process
• Interface with technical teams and have experience working with them

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Background in journalism, writing or marketing with keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with SEO
• Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS) like AEM and SEO tools
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred
• Understanding of common project management tooling such as Airtable, Azure, Jira, etc.
• Experience managing budgets and resources
