Salary / Rate Minimum: $225,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $300,000

The role requires extensive senior HR technology experience, particularly in delivering large-scale solutions on Workday and ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities - Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development, particularly in ServiceNow and Workday environments.
- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team, ensuring strategic alignment with HR transformation goals.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including journey groups, directors, and heads of experience, to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable, and secure.
- Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance, with a focus on delivering high-quality, low-defect code.
- Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the bank's performance standards and drives innovation.
- Lead and manage agile delivery teams, oversee quarterly/PI planning, facilitate estimation of work, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Align HR transformation initiatives to strategic technology platforms, ensuring integration and interoperability between ServiceNow, Workday, and other relevant systems.
- Partner across Barclays technology, HR, and external vendors to ensure effective delivery, negotiate contracts and licensing, and manage vendor relationships.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and tools to evaluate and adopt new approaches that improve product development and delivery.
Candidate Profile - Proven HR technology leadership experience, with a strong track record in ServiceNow and Workday product configuration, implementation, and enhancement.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with delivery excellence, including hands-on management of agile teams and direct involvement in planning and execution.
- Experience aligning HR transformations to enterprise platforms, and partnering with diverse stakeholders and vendors to drive successful outcomes.
- Strong negotiation skills for contracts and licensing with technology vendors.
Assessment Criteria
- Candidates will be expected to demonstrate in-depth HR transformation experience (preferably with ServiceNow and Workday), and articulate specific technical challenges encountered, tools and resources used, approaches to vendor management, and key learnings from previous initiatives.
- Technical depth will be assessed, including the ability to explain complex technical decisions, configuration approaches, and delivery management in clear, practical terms.
