Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, planning, and security of enterprise network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

This role requires a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in advanced networking technologies, network security, and hybrid cloud connectivity. The candidate will provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance, scalability, and security.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for evaluating emerging technologies, implementing best practices, and ensuring high availability and reliability of critical network systems.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the design and development of enterprise network architectures, roadmaps, and technical strategies

·         Architect and support hybrid network environments spanning on-premise data centers and cloud platforms

·         Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for networking technologies, guiding engineering and operations teams

·         Evaluate and implement advanced networking solutions such as SDN and SD-WAN

·         Design and implement network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure access controls

·         Develop and enforce network segmentation and isolation strategies to protect critical systems and data

·         Architect and manage load balancing solutions to ensure high availability and optimal traffic distribution

·         Oversee routing and switching implementations (OSPF, BGP) across multi-site/global environments

·         Ensure secure connectivity between data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and remote users

·         Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and architecture blueprints

·         Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide advanced technical support

·         Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to align network solutions with business goals

·         Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

·         10+ years of experience in network engineering with at least 5+ years in a network architect role

·         Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper)

·         Strong hands-on experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)

·         Proven experience in designing and implementing hybrid (on-prem + cloud) network architectures

·         Strong understanding and experience with SDN and SD-WAN technologies

 Expertise in load balancing, high availability, and performance optimization

 Experience in network modeling, capacity planning, and performance analysis

 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

 Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE

 Cloud networking certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate)

 Experience with large-scale enterprise or telecom network environments

 Strong understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and security best practices

 Experience working in cross-functional and global delivery teams
