Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager who has relationships with large Tier-1 financial institutions, including global banks, custodians, investment banks, and capital markets firms. This role is for a proven enterprise software sales leader with established executive-level relationships, strong technical sales background with ability to map technical solutions to business outcomes, and a track record of closing large, complex, multi-year deals. Ideal candidates have sold Observability, Computer Networking, NPM, APM software products and can run the entire sales lifecycle end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Own a portfolio of named Tier-1 financial services accounts
Build and execute multi-year account strategies
Maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, COO)
Drive the full enterprise sales process from prospecting through deal closure
Close six-figure to multi-million-dollar enterprise transactions
Partner closely with Sales Engineering and cross-functional teams
Represent the company in executive briefings, QBRs, and industry events
Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and deal governance
Required Experience & Profile
10+ years of enterprise software sales experience
Proven success selling into large financial institutions
Track record of closing complex, high-value deals
Experience selling competitive or complementary technologies to Computer Networking, NPM, APM, Observability
Established executive-level relationships within financial services
Strong technical sales background with ability to engage architects and engineers
Expertise in consultative, value-based selling
Ideal Candidate Snapshot
A seasoned enterprise sales professional with deep financial services relationships, technical credibility, and a history of closing complex deals. Comfortable operating independently, engaging executives, and driving large opportunities from prospecting to close.
We need to also look for folks who have been at places like ExtraHop, Gigamon, Cisco, Arista, Splunk etc. Especially these last 3 companies as they generally are in the conversations with the Sr. IT stakeholders who make decisions.
We need to hire an Experience Account Manager that is able to break into these important Big Bank targets and increase sales or make progress to revenue. The accounts they will have are all in the top 50 financials globally.
