Job Description — Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect (AI / DevOps / Application Development)

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect with deep expertise in AI-focused cloud solutions, DevOps engineering, Kubernetes platform management, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), hands-on experience with GKE, modern CI/CD practices, and prior Java application development experience to support engineering teams end-to-end.
This role requires someone who can architect scalable cloud-native solutions, guide AI/ML platform initiatives, and collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- 12+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Proven experience supporting or architecting AI/ML-focused solutions
- Strong DevOps and cloud engineering background
- Prior hands-on Java application development experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-grade cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Lead Kubernetes/GKE platform architecture, deployment, and optimization
- Support AI/ML infrastructure initiatives and scalable AI platform integrations
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes
- Work closely with development teams on Java-based application modernization
- Implement cloud security, observability, governance, and cost optimization strategies
- Guide engineering teams on cloud best practices and platform reliability
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, AI/ML, security, and application engineering
