Experienced Cable Technician - TEKsystems (Nashville, TN)About the RoleTEKsystems is seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support a long-term, high-profile cabling project. Technicians may work independently or help in a small group of helpers, depending on project needs. Daily direction and on-site training will be provided by a lead technician, offering opportunities to further develop skills in the low-voltage and structured cabling industry.
Key Responsibilities- Install cable pathways including cable trays, j-hooks, and supports.
- Pull and route Cat 6+ cabling and fiber optic cabling throughout the job site.
- Terminate faceplates, jacks, and related workstation outlets.
- Work within active new-construction environments and follow site safety requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow best practices for cable management.
Required Skills- Experience with Cat6 cabling, structured cabling, and cable installation.
- Ability to pull cable, install pathways, and use hand/power tools safely.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage cabling practices.

Additional Qualifications- Must be timely, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Must have dependable transportation to travel to various job sites in the Nashville area.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
