Role Overview
We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to elicit, track, and manage cost planning for specific projects. This role involves the collection of business and user needs, accrual reporting, forecasting, and invoice tracking. The position will also support the project funding and kickoff process by organizing requirements and preparing necessary materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
- Coordinate the tracking and reporting of technology project financials across multiple teams.
- Monitor financial performance of projects using SAP reports.
- Prepare detailed monthly project forecasts and conduct project review meetings.
- Handle financial processes such as accruals, purchase orders, and statements of work.
- Understand and work with general ledger and journal entries.
- Identify and define solutions for emerging issues, including forecasted budget implications.
- Assist with vendor engagement and contract monitoring processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Proven experience managing multiple project financials, priorities, and tasks.
- Prior experience with accruals, purchase orders, and statements of work.
- Understanding of the overall project execution process, including budgeting and forecasting.
Technical Skills:- Moderate to advanced SAP experience, including pulling reports and exporting data.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLookup, Pivot Tables, modeling, report building, SUMIFs, IF formulas, and HLookup.
Professional Skills:- Strong partnering, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self-manage objectives and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing technology program and project controls or financial analysis.
- Experience working with technical teams in a project-oriented culture.
- Ability to lead requirements gathering workshops.
- Well-developed financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Experience with project scoping and funding artifact preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with internal clients and navigate organizational structures.
Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65.00 to $71.00 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on experience and other factors.
