The Senior Data Systems Analyst is responsible for designing and developing data-centric solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing report performance within the Verity 340B platform. This role is key to maintaining data integrity and supporting business intelligence initiatives.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,200 - 182,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.

The Senior Data Systems Analyst is responsible for designing and developing data-centric solutions, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing report performance within the Verity 340B platform. This role is key to maintaining data integrity and supporting business intelligence initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data patterns to answer business questions.
- Define requirements for data extracts and aggregation for reports and BI solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure robust, trustworthy functionality.
- Create and execute data-centric test cases.
- Validate transactional data against business rules.
- Analyze datasets to ensure data integrity criteria are met.
- Maintain documentation for data models and solution designs.
- Support Operations in data setup for customer implementations and resolve data-centric issues.
- Maintain and update sales demo environment solutions.
- Participate actively in Scrum standups, grooming, sizing, and sprint planning.
- Communicate progress, issues, and risks promptly.
- Exercise data engineering best practices.
- Protect confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information, including HIPAA data.
- Promote Verity Solutions values through positive interactions with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of data engineering and/or BI experience.
- Knowledge of SDLC.
- Deep experience with databases (NoSQL required; MongoDB preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to test for accuracy in large datasets.
- Proficient in data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience with data architecture and pipeline design.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (Tableau strongly preferred).
- Understanding of basic statistics and its application.
- Familiarity with cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Effective collaboration in a Scrum-based environment.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and business processes.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to influence others.
- Self-motivated, effective with minimal direction.
- High level of curiosity and critical thinking.
- Strong desire to learn new concepts.
- Healthcare industry experience is a major plus.
