Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a leading financial services client recognized for top customer satisfaction in mobile and online banking. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, expertise in mobile architecture, deep understanding of Copilot and Prompt Engineering, solid software development skills, and experience developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. The role will lead and design automated solutions that enhance developer productivity.


The manager will coach and mentor team members, provide feedback, and support hands-on career development. The role will develop technology strategy, ensure compliance with standards, and advocate modern Agile delivery and engineering practices.


Responsibilities:



  • Define and prioritize product requirements that enable developers to use Copilot and Prompt Engineering.

  • Perform end-to-end testing to identify defects and validate new product functionality.

  • Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, App Developers, Product Owners, and clients to develop solutions.

  • Coordinate project management and stakeholder engagement across Technology, Sales, Client Education, Finance, and Legal.

  • Identify risks and dependencies, quantify business and technology impact, and define controls to resolve.

  • Apply innovative approaches to uncover issues during development.

  • Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.

  • Participate in code reviews of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams.


Primary Skill:


Perfecto for mobile automation, performance, and monitoring.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Minimum 10+ years of industry experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • UI automation and application framework enhancements using Java and Appium.

  • Mobile test automation with Appium.

  • Selenium and TestNG.

  • Subject matter expertise in mobile applications, frameworks, technical components, and underlying data.

  • Deep understanding of Copilot and Prompt Engineering.

  • 10+ years as a Software Development Engineer and 3+ years with AI tools such as Copilot.

  • Experience with one or more mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.

  • Hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools.

  • Core programming proficiency in Java.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with Perfecto integration for performance monitoring and reporting.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
