Job#: 3034006 Job Description: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Chicago, Illinois (On-site)Employment Type: ContractDuration: 6 MonthsRole Overview
We are seeking an Oracle DB Developer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of various complex applications. You will be expected to follow best practices established by the team, including proper source code control practices and delivery of unit test cases. This position requires onsite presence five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Utilize Informatica for ETL processes.
- Perform analysis and performance tuning of queries and scripts.
- Conduct logical and physical database design.
- Design key and indexing schemes, as well as partitioning strategies.
- Construct and implement the operational data store.
- Ensure data models are consistent with the ecosystem and adhere to data management standards.
- Participate in building and testing business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop and troubleshoot using SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripts.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 10 years of Oracle Applications related development experience using PL/SQL, and 2 to 3 years of Informatica development experience.
Technical Skills: Oracle Development (PL/SQL), Informatica, SQL, and Shell scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with relational database internals, including query processing and planning.
- Knowledge of key data structures, algorithms, and data modeling.
- Experience dealing with data at scale and adhering to strict audit standards.
- Proficiency in other programming/scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience with Data Analysis and Science is a plus.
Compensation
The anticipated bill rate for this position is up to $96.93 per hour. The pay rate range is $63.00 to $68.26 per hour.
