We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician for our client in Buffalo, NY

Job Title: Helpdesk Technician

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $17hr - $22hr

Requirement/Must Have:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a utility or field service environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and iOS operating systems.
Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
Experience in a utility or field service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide phone-based support for IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for field workers.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating issues to other support teams when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the IT service management system.
Assist in training field workers on new technologies and IT systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Work closely with IT teams and field operations to ensure seamless integration of technology in daily operations.

Should Have:

Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or Apple Certified Support Professional are a plus.
Bachelor s degree preferred.
