Duties:
We''re looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist to support and scale customer advocacy, reference management, and customer engagement programs. This is a contractor position ideal for an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience in customer advocacy, customer marketing, and cross-functional program management within a fast-growing enterprise technology company. This role will help manage customer storytelling, reference fulfillment, and advocacy initiatives that support sales, public and analyst relations, and marketing activities.
You''ll partner cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, corporate communications, and field marketing teams to help identify customer champions, manage advocacy workflows, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. HOW YOU''LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
• Support the day-to-day execution of the customer advocacy program
• Lead the UserEvidence Advocacy hub including customer recruitment and driving engagement activities[CV1.1][CG1.2]
• Secure third-party customer reviews through platforms such as Gartner Peer Insights and G2
• Conduct sales outreach to identify customers for speaking opportunities, external quotes, and advocacy activities
• Source and build targeted customer lists based on products, industries, use cases, and strategic initiatives
• Create and maintain customer speaker profiles, tagging, attributes, and reference content within ReferenceEdge while supporting ongoing data management initiatives and additional platform projects as needed
• Be creative and introduce fresh ideas, strategies, and processes
• Use AI tools and modern workflows to improve productivity and efficiency
Skills:
WE''D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
• 2–5 years of experience with customer reference programs, customer marketing, or advocacy marketing functions
• Demonstrated success building strong relationships and working collaboratively across teams
• Strong program and project management skills; ambitious, organized, and eager to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
• Results-oriented, independent thinker focused on execution and follow-through
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS or technology companies preferred
