Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday HR Time & Labor and Absence Lead to support and enhance Workday HCM solutions for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and support of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Time & Labor and Absence Management

  • Manage day-to-day Workday HCM support activities, including issue resolution and enhancements

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

  • Configure business processes, time calculations, accruals, leave plans, and validations

  • Support Workday releases, testing cycles (UAT), and production deployments

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and best practices across Workday modules

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Workday HCM

  • Strong hands-on experience in Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management

  • Experience in Workday support, enhancements, and production support environments

  • Solid understanding of HR business processes, payroll integration, and compliance

  • Experience with Workday configuration: business processes, calculated fields, reports

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in Time Tracking / Absence / HCM

  • Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment
