About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Software Engineer to support complex, large-scale engineering initiatives. In this role, you will design and develop scalable software solutions, evaluate complex technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality applications.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with
Java, React, CI/CD, software architecture, and Kubernetes/OpenShift. Experience with
Golang (Go) is a plus, as Go is being used within the current project.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions for complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
- Analyze multifaceted engineering challenges and recommend solutions based on technical, architectural, and business requirements.
- Contribute to application and system architecture, including design decisions that support scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Develop applications and services using Java and React.
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Work with containerized applications and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Evaluate technical requirements, dependencies, risks, and other factors affecting large-scale or long-term engineering initiatives.
- Ensure solutions align with applicable engineering standards, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and client personnel to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in troubleshooting, technical reviews, and the resolution of complex software engineering issues.
- Contribute to projects utilizing Golang (Go), where applicable.
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of professional work experience, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Hands-on development experience with Java and React.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and software deployment practices.
- Strong understanding of software and application architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience developing applications or services using Golang (Go).
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise technology environments.
- Knowledge of modern cloud-native application development and containerization practices.
- Experience contributing to architectural decisions for complex software platforms.
