Documentum Engineer @ Minnesota (Onsite)

We are seeking a skilled Documentum Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support EMC/OpenText Documentum content management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Documentum administration, development, configuration, migrations, and integrations, ensuring secure and efficient management of enterprise content and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Documentum environments.
  • Manage Content Server, repositories, DocBroker, xPlore, D2, DA, Webtop, and related Documentum components.
  • Develop and maintain Documentum workflows, lifecycles, business rules, and document management processes.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Configure security, user roles, groups, permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues.
  • Develop custom solutions using DFC, DFS, REST services, Java, and related technologies.
  • Integrate Documentum with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, SAP, and Microsoft platforms.
  • Support document migration projects from legacy repositories to Documentum.
  • Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, and project teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with OpenText/EMC Documentum.
  • Strong knowledge of Documentum Content Server administration.
  • Experience with D2, DA, xPlore, Webtop, DocBroker, and repository management.
  • Experience with Documentum workflows, lifecycles, and security models.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Understanding of enterprise content management (ECM) principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenText Content Management solutions.
  • Knowledge of Java, DFC, REST APIs, Web Services, and scripting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with content migration tools and upgrade projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • OpenText or Documentum certifications.
