Summary

We are looking for Technical Lead for our client in Plano, TX

Job Title: Technical Lead

Job Location: Plano, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Lead engineering teams in delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions across enterprise platforms.
Drive technical direction, architecture decisions, and end-to-end delivery of applications and services.
Oversee modernization of legacy systems and adoption of cloud-native and microservices architectures.
Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Establish engineering standards, mentor team members, and ensure continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Requirement/Must Have:

Minimum 12 years of software engineering experience.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience leading engineering teams.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience with API development and integration frameworks.
Strong experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead engineering teams and manage day-to-day technical delivery.
Define and implement technical architecture and design solutions.
Drive modernization of legacy systems into scalable services.
Ensure delivery of high-quality, production-ready applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Oversee development of APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices.
Mentor and guide engineers to support their growth and development.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data governance requirements.

Should Have:

Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
Experience with ETL pipelines and reporting systems.
Familiarity with compliance standards and data privacy regulations.

Skills:

Software architecture and design.
Backend and API development.
Cloud computing and infrastructure management.
Data integration and database management.
Frontend development and portal applications.
Leadership, mentoring, and team management.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
Equivalent experience considered.
