Responsibilities

Keysight is looking for an experienced Wireless/RF/uW Solution Engineer that will work closely with Keysight's Field Sales team and customers. Solution Engineers deliver technical instrument and measurement automation expertise for a solution implementation based on Keysight products and services. They're focused on various phases of the sales process including requirements analysis, feature-by-feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation/execution, generally allocated by project and engineering services. Additionally, this position provides opportunities to present technical seminars, training classes, consulting, demonstrations, etc. that convey the Solution Engineer's technology expertise along with insights from Keysight products and solutions. Being persuasive to create customer preference for Keysight products as well as developing strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction are key aspects to this position.

This position has responsibilities for:
Leading Keysight's customer engagements from a technical perspective
Owning the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and in some cases delivery
Teaming with sales professionals, industry solution teams, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities
Creating demand for Keysight's products and services through presentations, seminars, and demonstrations
Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers as a resident expert while ensuring high customer satisfaction

This position is compensated by a 90% salary and 10% commission. It yields 100% target pay achievement at 100% of targeted sales with higher commission rates once the target is exceeded.

Qualifications

This position requires the following skillsets and attributes, with an emphasis on technical expertise and communication skills:

  • This position requires at least 2 years of technical experience working in Wireless/RF/uW technologies.
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with emphasis in wireless communication systems.
  • Strong knowledge in Cellular (5G/6G/NTN), BT, Wifi
  • Strong understanding of RF and microwave test and measurement applications, including RF/uW/mmW communications and component test
  • Understanding of Space & Satellite communications and test systems
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, Matlab, or C
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Effective presentation and problem solving skills
  • This is a field job and candidate must be capable of transporting test equipment to/from customer sites.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Texas Pay Range MIN $150,730.00 MIDPOINT $200,970.00 MAX $251,220.00
