Job Summary

•             We are looking for a seasoned SAP PP/QM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise across manufacturing and quality processes, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to lead implementations, enhancements, and support engagements in an onshore environment

Key Responsibilities

•             Lead and support SAP PP and QM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.

•             Configure and optimize PP processes, including:

•             Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)

•             Demand Management and MRP

•             Production Orders and Capacity Planning

•             Configure and support QM processes, including:

•             Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-Process, Final)

•             Inspection Plans, Characteristics, and Results Recording

•             Quality Notifications and Defect Management

•             Integrate PP/QM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.

•             Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

•             Support UAT, cutover activities, defect resolution, and production support.

•             Prepare and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, configuration documents, and test scripts.

•             Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants.

•             Participate in solution design reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•             10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.

•             Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

•             Experience with MRP, capacity planning, production execution, and quality inspections.

•             Solid integration knowledge with MM, SD, and FI/CO.

•             Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•             Proven experience working in onshore, client-facing roles in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/QM.

•             Exposure to discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing environments.

•             Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations.

•             Knowledge of compliance and quality standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.).

Nice to Have

•             Experience with PP-PI or advanced planning tools.

•             Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing or MES integration.

•             Prior experience in regulated industries such as pharma, medical devices, or food manufacturing.
