About Pine Island Auto Inc
Pine Island Auto Inc is seeking an A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician who wants more than a place to turn wrenches.
The shop works on a diverse vehicle mix, including approximately 40% Domestic vehicles, along with European, Asian, specialty, and other vehicles.
The facility features 3 bays and professional diagnostic technology, including Snap-on, Launch, Autel, and factory-specific laptops and software.
This is an opportunity for an experienced technician who can diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles while continuing to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform general automotive maintenance and repair
- Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections
- Identify safety concerns and needed maintenance
- Complete digital vehicle inspections
- Work efficiently with Service Advisors and the repair team
- Document findings clearly and accurately
- Use modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns accurately
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred
- A-Level or strong B-Level technician capabilities
- Strong general repair skills
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to perform thorough multi-point inspections and identify vehicle needs
- Comfortable working on multiple makes and models
- ASE certifications, state inspection/emissions licensing, DVI experience, factory or dealership training, European vehicle experience, and Tekmetric experience are beneficial
