About ASAP Automotive & Transmission
ASAP Automotive & Transmission is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its family-owned shop in Bear, DE.
Since 1988, the shop has focused on honest service, quality repairs, and long-term customer relationships. You\'ll handle a variety of general automotive repairs while using equipment including Hunter Alignment, Snap-on Solus and Verus scan tools, and AutoLeap Digital Vehicle Inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform steering, suspension, brake, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
- Diagnose common drivability and light-to-moderate electrical concerns
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using AutoLeap
- Complete quality repairs efficiently while maintaining productivity
- Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to complete repairs independently
- Experience with steering, suspension, brakes, maintenance, and general automotive repair
- Basic to intermediate automotive electrical diagnostic ability
- Ability to consistently produce quality work while maintaining productivity
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred
