Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Buena Vista, FL
Role Description
Lead the design and development of engaging, user-centric web applications for strategic internal business decision-makers.
Champion modern front-end technologies and frameworks, focusing on building responsive, scalable, and accessible user interfaces using React or similar libraries.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences, workflows, wireframes, and mockups.
Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to visualize complex data and model outputs in clear, actionable formats for end users.
Mentor and guide other engineers in front-end best practices, code quality, and UI/UX design principles.
Partner with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment, security, and performance of front-end applications.
Advocate for and implement best practices in front-end development, including accessibility, performance optimization, and maintainability.
Skills & Requirements
5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on front-end development.
Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
Familiar with frameworks like Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TanStack (Query and Table), and global state management libraries.
Skilled in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Familiar with RESTful APIs and data fetching techniques
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, or related field.
Advanced proficiency in React, UI/UX design, data visualizations, and front-end optimization.
Proven experience building performance, accessible, and reusable front-end components or libraries.
Experience implementing UI/UX designs in Figma, including user scenarios, wireframes, mockups, and technical specifications.
Experience with front-end build tools and GitLab CI/CD
Experience with Python and Django or similar web frameworks.
Experience building data-driven applications with databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake and, SQL.
Demonstrated leadership in front-end architecture and tool selection.
Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
