Job#: 3037241 Job Description: Apex Systems is hiring a Sr. Solutions Design Consultant for a large Healthcare client.
Location: FULLY REMOTE - anywhere in the United States.
1 year contract with the possibility to extent.
Role Overview
The Solution Consultant plays a critical role in the National Products team, aligning business strategy with technology execution. This role requires healthcare functional domain knowledge, solution architecture expertise, and communication skills to partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and define long-term technology roadmaps and architectural vision.
- Act as a trusted advisor by translating complex business requirements into clear technical solutions.
- Guide project teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
- Identify technical risks throughout the project lifecycle and communicate potential impacts proactively.
- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies-including Digital, AI, and Cloud-to drive business innovation.
- Support the definition of solution and functional requirements to ensure workstreams have clarity across all stages of delivery.
- Break down business requirements into features, scalable components, and user stories.
- Develop logical solution design artifacts such as diagrams and logical solution design documents.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide hands-on technical leadership to resolve integration issues, and collaborate with design leads to maintain consistency.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: 5+ years of related experience are required.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Health Care plan/payor systems.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, communication skills, and strong delivery discipline.
- Proven experience in consultative roles working with business teams to define and deliver solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture within business or functional projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile, DevOps, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Lucid, and Confluence.
- Deep knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and methodologies.
