Job Title: Software Engineer 3 / Full Stack .NET Engineer
Location: San Leandro, CA / Concord, CA / San Francisco, CA - Hybrid (3 days onsite; early start ~6 AM PT preferred)
Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $61 - $65
Top Requirements:4-5+ years of full stack development using .NET / .NET Core (C#) and Entity FrameworkStrong database experience with Oracle and SQL (performance tuning, stored procedures)Experience building APIs and working with event streaming tools such as KafkaPlusses:Front-end experience with React (or Angular) and modern UI practicesExperience with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins) and DevOps practicesCloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)Exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes environmentsFamiliarity with GitHub and Copilot for development productivityJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using .NET / .NET Core (C#)
- Build and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework/Core
- Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, queries, and stored procedures
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka
- Develop front-end components using React (or Angular)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis
- Ensure application scalability, performance, and security in a regulated environment
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams including product, architecture, and DevOps
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and modern tooling to improve productivity
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements of enterprise applications supporting branch and financial data systems
