Job#: 3025257 Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Automation / DevOps Engineer to support and evolve a modern integration and cloud platform. This role focuses on automating manual operational work, strengthening Infrastructure as Code, and improving CI/CD pipelines for systems running in both production and non-production environments. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, refining, and scaling automation while partnering closely with engineering and integration teams.
In this role, you will focus on reducing operational friction and improving reliability through automation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions for infrastructure and application workflows
- Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including creating and updating modules from scratch
- Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar), including pipeline architecture and YAML configurations
- Writing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages
- Supporting production and lower environments, including incident response and troubleshooting
- Monitoring cloud-based systems using standard observability and APM tools
- Collaborating with integration and platform teams to establish automation standards and best practices
Required Experience & SkillsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Automation, or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on scripting experience (Python, Bash, Shell, Perl, or similar)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent)
- Experience supporting production systems, including on-call or incident response
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, pipelines, and integrations
Technical Environment (Experience with some of the following)- Cloud services (compute, storage, monitoring, automation)
- CI/CD platforms (GitLab or similar)
- Configuration management and automation tools
- Application performance monitoring and observability tools
- Integration or middleware platforms (experience with any is a plus, not a requirement)
