Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Citrix environments including **Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), StoreFront, and NetScaler/ADC
Monitor, maintain, and optimize Citrix infrastructure to ensure uptime, performance, and scalability ([HRBLADE][1])
Provide L2 support for Citrix-related incidents, including troubleshooting application, network, and user access issues ([Velvet Jobs][2])
Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and authentication mechanisms
Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of Citrix systems
Implement and manage VDI solutions and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
Support Citrix Cloud and hybrid environments, including migrations from on-premise infrastructure
Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and system health checks
Collaborate with security teams to enforce cybersecurity standards and vulnerability remediation
Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers
Participate in on-call support rotation and critical incident response

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–8+ years of experience in Citrix engineering or virtualization roles
Strong hands-on experience with:

Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop)
Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
Citrix StoreFront & Provisioning Services

Expertise in:

Microsoft Windows Server environments
Active Directory & Group Policy
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL)
Experience with **cloud platforms (Azure preferred)**
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience with **PowerShell scripting and automation**
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

Preferred Qualifications

Citrix certifications (CCA-V, CCP-V, or equivalent)
Experience with **Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)** or hybrid cloud deployments
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
Prior consulting or client-facing experience
