Job Description:
This role focuses on managing, securing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure through effective patching and configuration practices. The engineer is responsible for ensuring systems remain up-to-date, compliant, and protected against vulnerabilities by implementing robust patch management strategies across Windows and Linux environments.
The position involves administering core services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, while also handling system configuration using tools like SCCM, Intune, and Ansible. A strong emphasis is placed on automation, with scripting in PowerShell or Python used to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Additionally, the role requires advanced troubleshooting across multiple platforms, managing secure communications (TLS certificates), and collaborating with development teams using tools like Git and Azure DevOps. The engineer plays a key role in maintaining system performance, enabling automation via APIs, and contributing to organizational best practices through documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in managing and configuring Windows Server 2016-2022 and Windows 10, 11 environments.
Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and network services management.
Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, Azure Entra AD, Intune, and Auto Patch.
Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
Understanding of TLS certificates and secure communication protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative spirit and a focus on knowledge sharing.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog.
Experience using REST APIs for automation.
