Advanced Resolution Engineer, you will play a critical role in resolving complex, enterprise-scale technical issues in a command-center environment. You will use modern observability and network analysis tools to identify fault domains across multiple technology stacks. This role combines strong technical depth, a data-driven troubleshooting mindset, and excellent communication skills to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
You are naturally curious, enjoy solving challenging problems, and take pride in understanding not just what failed, but why it failed.
Responsibilities - Perform deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex incidents across a large, global enterprise environment
- Leverage observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Extrahop, Dynatrace, Splunk, Wireshark) to analyze and resolve issues quickly and accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network, server, database, application, and cloud specialists
- Communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations with a strong customer-first mindset
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required to support business-critical systems
- Mentor and support team members by sharing troubleshooting methodologies and best practices
Minimum Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in enterprise systems, infrastructure, or networking roles
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting complex enterprise-level systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with observability and diagnostic tools such as Extrahop, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Wireshark
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP, TCP, and UDP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with scripting or automation using Python and/or PowerShell
- Wireshark Certified Analyst (WCA) certification
- Worldwide Certified Network Analyst (WCNA) certification
