Role: Workday AI Consultant

We are seeking a Workday AI Consultant with strong thought leadership and deep technical expertise to drive the strategic adoption, integration, and optimization of AI-powered capabilities within the Workday ecosystem. This role will influence industry best practices, guide clients and internal teams through AI transformation, and ensure Workday data is structured and optimized for advanced AI use cases.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on Workday expertise, AI fluency, and the ability to translate complex concepts into real business value.
Key Responsibilities
Thought Leadership & Strategy
. Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday AI and Workday Illuminate, staying ahead of platform advancements and industry trends.
. Translate emerging AI capabilities into clear, actionable strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
. Contribute to internal and external thought leadership through frameworks, best practices, and point-of-view development.
Client Advisory & Engagement
. Advise clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday AI capabilities aligned to business objectives.
. Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and define roadmaps that maximize ROI.
. Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and executive audiences.
Technical Architecture & Solutioning
. Lead the architecture, configuration, and deployment of AI-driven solutions across Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Finance, Payroll).
. Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
. Collaborate closely with integration and platform teams to ensure AI solutions are production-ready.
Data Quality & Enablement
. Assess and improve Workday data structures, formatting, and pipelines to ensure data is AI-ready.
. Establish standards for data quality, consistency, and governance across inbound and outbound Workday data flows.
. Enable downstream analytics, ML, and generative AI use cases through clean, well-structured data.
Innovation & Team Enablement
. Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot emerging Workday AI features to accelerate adoption.
. Mentor and upskill internal teams on Workday AI capabilities, architecture patterns, and implementation best practices.
. Drive continuous improvement through reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.
Governance & Best Practices
. Define and enforce standards, methodologies, and documentation for Workday AI implementations.
. Ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across all AI-enabled solutions.
. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction.
