Title: IAM Architect
Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - Mon & Friday Remote , rest is Onsite)

Job Description: You will take full ownership of enterprise architecture as a Principal Architect, covering end-user computing (EUC), collaboration platforms, workforce identity (B2E), customer identity (B2C), and Zero Trust security frameworks.
The role involves defining governance, establishing standards, and shaping the overall architecture strategy. You will also drive modernization roadmaps and ensure engineering teams deliver platforms that are secure, scalable, and highly reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise architecture spanning identity platforms, EUC, collaboration ecosystems, and Zero Trust frameworks.
- Shape future-state and current-state architecture models while defining long-term technology roadmaps.
- Establish architecture principles, reference models, design standards, and reusable patterns.
- Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Govern architectural decisions by reviewing and approving solution designs across initiatives.
- Integrate architecture practices with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes including build, test, validation, and deployment.
- Lead modernization programs covering legacy decommissioning, interoperability improvements, and technical debt reduction.
- Define integration patterns for identity services, device posture validation, and collaboration access management.
- Maintain architecture documentation and knowledge repositories using Confluence or similar tools.
- Embed architecture work into tracking tools like Jira through epics, stories, and tasks.
- Manage architecture exceptions with structured documentation and risk evaluation processes.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers while communicating strategy to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Prior experience in roles such as enterprise architect, principal architect, or senior solution architect.
- Demonstrated expertise in defining enterprise architecture vision, technology frameworks, and governance structures.
Technical Expertise
End User Computing (EUC)
- Define endpoint strategies and design overall device architecture.
- Apply modern endpoint management tools and enforce device-level policies.
- Understand device trust, compliance frameworks, and identity-driven access within Zero Trust environments.
Identity & Access Management
- Hands-on experience with enterprise identity platforms, including Active Directory and modern cloud-based identity solutions.
- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization standards like SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and directory services.
- Design identity architectures for both workforce (B2E) and customer-facing (B2C) systems.
- Expertise in identity governance, risk-based segmentation, and scalable identity frameworks.
Zero Trust Security
- Deep understanding of identity-centric security models, least privilege principles, and continuous validation.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align architecture with enterprise-wide risk and security strategies.
Collaboration Platforms
- Manage and govern enterprise collaboration ecosystems effectively.
- Integrate collaboration tools with identity lifecycle and access management systems.
- Apply platform configuration standards, governance frameworks, and access control approaches.
Architecture Governance & Tools
- Implement architectural frameworks, maintain decision logs, and develop reference models.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence.
- Work with task and workflow management tools like Jira.
- Align governance practices with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in identity management, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, endpoint management, or enterprise architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture across large-scale global environments and multiple business domains.
- Proven track record in delivering enterprise modernization and standardization programs.
