Fullstack .NET Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Software Engineer to join a development team focused on strengthening application infrastructure, improving source code quality, and modernizing development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong ASP.NET Core/.NET developer with solid Angular experience and a background developing modern applications using microservices architecture.

Summary:
This is a hands-on development role that will contribute to application development while helping the team continue to improve its infrastructure, testing, and CI/CD processes. The team is currently transitioning its CI/CD environment from TeamCity and Octopus Deploy to GitHub Actions and Harness. Candidates with experience in either the existing tools or the new platforms will be considered valuable. Experience with MuleSoft is also a plus, as it is used as an API gateway within the environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience developing applications with ASP.NET Core
* Strong C#/.NET development experience
* Strong experience with Angular
* Experience with Entity Framework
* Experience designing and developing applications using Microservices Architecture
* Strong understanding of software development best practices, source code quality, and application architecture
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
* Experience with Harness
* Experience with Docker/containerization
* Experience with integration testing
* Experience with unit testing
* Experience with MuleSoft APIs
* Familiarity with TeamCity and/or Octopus Deploy
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Technology Environment:
The strongest candidates will have particularly strong ASP.NET Core and Angular experience, with microservices development experience. Experience with the deployment technologies is beneficial but is not required if the candidate has a strong software engineering background and can quickly learn new tools.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
