Job Description-
We are seeking a motivated Metadata Profiling Analyst to join our Data Governance team. In this role, you will work directly with Client application owners to gather, analyze, and profile metadata for onboarding into an enterprise metadata management platform. This position requires strong SQL skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detailoriented approach to ensuring metadata accuracy and compliance with governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Client application owners to collect, understand, and profile metadata for integration into the enterprise metadata management platform
Analyze metadata structures and ensure alignment with Data Governance policies and platform requirements
Use SQL to run queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting during metadata profiling
Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Document metadata profiling activities, onboarding steps, and data quality findings
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Data Governance team to enhance metadata quality and consistency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field
Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
Good knowledge of metadata concepts, structures, and governance practices
Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills
Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify data quality issues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the telecom industry is a plus
Familiarity with data lineage, data modeling, or ETL processes
Knowledge of enterprise application ecosystems and governance frameworks
