Description
We are looking for a PC Technician to support end-user hardware needs in Pasadena, Texas. This Long-term Contract position focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer equipment and connected devices in a service-driven environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Dell Technologies and Apple devices while delivering dependable technical support on site.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and other associated hardware for daily business use.
Diagnose and resolve issues involving computer hardware, device performance, and workstation connectivity in a timely manner.
Set up, organize, and secure cabling for computers, monitors, and related equipment to ensure clean and reliable installations.
Provide hands-on support for Dell Technologies systems, including deployment, component replacement, and hardware troubleshooting.
Assist with the setup, maintenance, and support of Apple devices used across the work environment.
Perform equipment upgrades, hardware swaps, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend device life.
Document service activities, asset details, and completed technical work to maintain accurate support records.
Requirements
Experience supporting desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware in a detail-focused environment.
Working knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics, repair, and replacement procedures.
Ability to perform cable installation and organize hardware connections safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with Dell Technologies products and hardware support practices.
Experience handling and supporting Apple devices in a business setting.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical issues independently.
Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach to on-site support.
