Description
We are looking for an HPC Systems Administrator to support and maintain a stable, secure, and high-performing computing environment in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on managing core Microsoft infrastructure, end-user systems, and platform technologies that enable daily business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with server administration, directory services, virtualization and access tools, and hardware support, along with a proactive approach to system reliability and user service.
Responsibilities:
Administer and support Windows-based server environments to ensure consistent performance, availability, and security across the organization.
Manage Active Directory services, including user provisioning, group policy administration, access controls, and directory maintenance.
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows 10 endpoint systems, resolving technical issues and improving the end-user computing experience.
Configure, monitor, and support Dell infrastructure components, including hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance.
Oversee Citrix platforms and related remote access solutions to provide dependable application and desktop delivery.
Assist with cloud-connected infrastructure and operational tasks involving AWS services where needed.
Perform system patching, updates, backups, and routine health checks to reduce downtime and strengthen platform stability.
Document configurations, support procedures, and technical changes while collaborating with internal teams to address operational needs.
Requirements
Hands-on experience administering Active Directory in a production environment.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 support.
Experience supporting Dell enterprise hardware and related infrastructure systems.
Familiarity with Citrix technologies for virtual application or desktop delivery.
Exposure to AWS and an understanding of basic cloud infrastructure concepts.
Ability to diagnose and resolve system, server, and endpoint issues efficiently.
Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills in a technical support environment.
