Job Description:

AI Automation Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an AI Automation Specialist to join a growing team focused on developing and implementing AI-driven solutions across the organization. This is a hands-on, builder-focused role for someone who has strong technical fundamentals, enjoys solving problems, and is excited about building a career around artificial intelligence and automation.

This position does not require extensive professional AI experience. We are looking for someone who understands how modern applications and technology environments work and is eager to apply that knowledge to AI. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, technically versatile, comfortable learning new technologies, and motivated by the opportunity to build solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, enhance, and deploy AI and automation solutions supporting business teams across the organization
  • Translate business problems and feature requests into practical technical solutions
  • Work with existing applications and prototypes to enhance, refactor, and prepare solutions for use within the enterprise environment
  • Develop new solutions from initial problem statement through implementation and deployment
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate application development, troubleshooting, and solution design
  • Work with web applications, APIs, front-end and back-end technologies, and cloud-based platforms
  • Learn and work within the organization's existing technical architecture and development standards
  • Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI tools and technologies
  • Develop enhancements and new functionality for existing AI solutions
  • Partner with technical and business teams as solutions move from concept to production
  • Continuously learn and identify new ways AI and automation can improve business processes

Required Qualifications
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Foundational understanding of web applications and how they function
  • Understanding of front-end and back-end application concepts
  • Familiarity with APIs, API calls, requests, and responses
  • General understanding of programming and software development concepts
  • Exposure to at least one programming or object-oriented programming language
  • Ability to understand technical concepts such as functions, controllers, integrations, and application architecture
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to independently research and learn new technologies
  • Hands-on, builder-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where technologies and priorities are continuously evolving

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience experimenting with or building solutions using generative AI
  • Experience with AI agents, agentic AI, or AI-assisted development
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience
  • Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Foundry experience
  • Experience with web application development
  • Angular exposure
  • Java / Spring experience
  • HTML knowledge
  • QA, application testing, automation testing, or penetration testing background
  • Familiarity with OWASP or application security concepts
  • Machine learning exposure
  • Personal projects demonstrating hands-on experimentation with AI or automation technologies

What You'll Gain

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of departments and business challenges within a large enterprise environment. Rather than supporting one application or business function, you will have exposure to projects throughout the organization and help explore how AI can fundamentally change the way teams operate.

You will have the opportunity to:
  • Build real-world enterprise AI solutions
  • Work with emerging AI technologies
  • Gain exposure across multiple business functions
  • Take solutions from concept through implementation
  • Experiment with and evaluate new AI tools
  • Work on projects with meaningful business impact
  • Develop your AI skill set alongside an organization actively investing in the technology

Work Environment
  • Hybrid schedule
  • Two days per week onsite
  • Ocoee / Orlando, Florida area
