Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Mainframe SAS migration, Python, and Java UI integration and a proven ability to analyze legacy workflows, redesign for Oracle, and deliver accurate, performant migrations.

Responsibilities:

• Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.


• Analyze existing Mainframe SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.


• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Oracle-based solutions.


• Build and enhance a Java-based UI for process maintenance.


• Develop Python utilities for automation, data processing, and migration tasks.


• Use JIRA for work management in an Agile or hybrid environment.


• Report to the technology manager for planning, status, and delivery oversight with minimal client interaction.


• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL development.


• Experience with Mainframe SAS and migration of SAS workflows.


• Working proficiency with Python for automation and data handling.


• Experience supporting or integrating with Java-based applications.


• Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow tools.


• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.


• Proven team player with solid communication and problem-solving skills.


• Track record of on-time delivery of high-quality technical outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to COBOL on the mainframe or related legacy modernization.


• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
