Job DescriptionAs a member of the Engineering team, the Industrial Engineer Specialist I will be responsible for supporting manufacturing efficiency through process improvement, maintaining and optimizing automated systems, and supporting engineering initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesAn Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities typically include:
- Works independently with general supervision
- Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex
- May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required (Associates or technical training preferred)
Experience Requirements- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of industrial engineering or manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with PLC, HMI, or SCADA systems (preferred)
