Job Description

As a member of the Engineering team, the Industrial Engineer Specialist I will be responsible for supporting manufacturing efficiency through process improvement, maintaining and optimizing automated systems, and supporting engineering initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:
  • Works independently with general supervision
  • Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex
  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required (Associates or technical training preferred)

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of industrial engineering or manufacturing processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, or SCADA systems (preferred)
